The genasys search bot is the scraper that builds the search indexes for the genasys search engine. The bots source IP address will always be "213.121.139.109". The Genasys search bot should never scan a non-genasys website - if you are seeing the genasys bot in your logs then please contact the Genasys Developer.
The Genasys search bot scrapes visible text from Genasys pages to build the ambiguous search index. It will collect any text from a page - this may include email addresses and telephone numbers - this information is not used in any other way and the data is secured on a separate server. The data is only available for access from the designated genasys application server - theres is no public interface to the stored text, only the queries sent from the application server are served.
